What's the process for ordering a piece from the My Story Collection? TOP The idea behind the My Story collection is to tell a story, to tell your story. It can be your wedding date, your children's birthday, your husband's football number in high school/college or anything that is special to you. How it works: You give me the information and if I think I need more I will ask some questions. Sometimes, just sitting down and writing an email about yourself of the person you are buying it for is really helpful:) You'd be surprised about the cute, funny stories I have been told and have figured out a creative way to incorporate some aspect of it into the piece. Then I sit down to create a necklace with all of the information I have been given and I ask myself, "what is your story?" The Process: When you checkout and pay, you will need to enter the names, numbers, initials, color of stones that you wish for me to work with and I get started! It's easy! You supply the information and I create the necklace for you! Don't worry, if I have any questions, I will contact you so make sure you supply your email address when you order a necklace. You don't need to request specific charm shapes because I will take care of that for you, it's part of my creative process. Don't forget to tell me which color or stone you wish for me to add to it. Can you stamp on the backside of the tag? TOP There are only a few pieces that can be stamped on both sides. You’ll see this noted in the description. Can I buy the tag without a chain? TOP Your chain is included in the price of the necklace. We don’t sell the tags alone Do you ship internationally? TOP We are happy to ship internationally, but please note that we declare the actual value on the customs form and we cannot guarantee a specific delivery timeframe as international orders have to go through customs. How long does it take to get my jewelry? TOP Please give us 2-3 weeks to create your custom, hand-stamped jewelry. I need a necklace rushed, can you help? TOP Your best bet is to choose express shipping at checkout and then shoot me an email to let me know. We’ll do our best, but we can’t guarantee rush processing. My necklace is not what I expected, what should I do? TOP We can’t refund payments on custom orders, but we want you to be happy. Please email us at jewelrybysimonandlucy@gmail.com or use our contact form, and we’ll see what we can do. What if I want to add a tag when I have another kiddo? TOP No problem! Just send your necklace back to us and we’ll polish up the whole piece and add your new tag. What type of chain do you use? TOP We use a fine link chain because it makes the jewelry look more elegant and it's much sturdier than a ball chain. Will the letters be perfectly straight? TOP Nope. Each piece is hand-stamped which means it has character and beauty. We make sure we send out the best quality jewelry! |
